FAQs

Why is Site Cite so amazing?
It's great getting to make your own FAQ section...isn't it?
Seriously, we felt that it was time to allow users of the web to have URLs that they create and customize so that they can actually remember them. Isn't it the worst when you are telling someone about a site but can't remember the URL as it's generally too long?

With Site Cite, suppose you have a great cooking website that you love and want to tell your friends about. If you 'site' this website on Site Cite you could give it a clever quickname like "recipes" and suppose your account with Site Cite is joeblow then its permanent URL will be http://sitecite.com/joeblow/recipes
Easy to remember, right? (We thought so)

How do I modify my 'sites'? ie: Quick name, URL, Description
Login to your account and on your account home page (ie: http://sitecite.com/your-username) Click on the + symbol of one of your 'sites'. This will display all the information pertaining to that 'site'. By clicking on any of the items that are bolded you can modify that data.
